Airlock Activity from Fermentation

After letting the wort from my Eye of the Loon Red Ale brew day, I was able to transfer it into my fermenter the next day. I pitched my yeast in the early afternoon and headed off to a Super Bowl party that evening. When I got back, I checked on the fermenter and was disappointed that there was no activity yet.

Good things come to those who wait.

Monday morning I woke up to see a healthy head of krausen (foam) on top of the wort and lots of bubbles in the airlock.

Glug….glug….glug Eye of the Loon Red Ale #fermentation | #homebrew

Well on our way to a (hopefully) delicious beer!
